2021 St. Luke’s graduate Silas Hall is making waves on the biggest football stage in Louisiana—starting at long snapper for the LSU Tigers.

A student-athlete while at St. Luke’s, Silas continued his football career at Episcopal High School, where he became one of the nation’s top-rated long snappers. Rated a five-star long snapper and No. 12 in the nation by Kohl’s Kicking Camps, Silas earned a spot on the LSU roster as a preferred walk-on and immediately made an impact. During his freshman season in 2025, he played in all 13 games, serving as LSU’s primary long snapper on placekicks before taking over punt snapping midway through the season. His performance earned him 2025 Freshman All-SEC honors.

Now entering his second season with the Tigers in 2026, Silas is currently pursuing a degree in finance.

At St. Luke’s, Silas developed the discipline, confidence, teamwork, and perseverance that continue to serve him today. In a school community focused on mind, body, and spirit, he learned to work hard, support others, and lead with character—lessons that have carried with him from the St. Luke’s campus to Death Valley.
