St. Luke's Fire Response
Our hearts are heavy with the loss of our beloved church building. While the building may be gone, our spirit remains strong and resilient. We appreciate all the love and support from our St. Luke's families and the Baton Rouge community. The remarkable efforts of the Baton Rouge Fire Department and all first responders deserve our deepest gratitude. Their swift and courageous actions prevented further devastation. We are grateful beyond measure for the vigilant police officer who first noticed the smoke billowing from our roof and the tireless efforts of over 75 firefighters who battled the flames throughout the night.
To thank the firefighters and give our children an opportunity to express gratitude, we would like to collect donations to provide meals to the fire stations that responded to our crisis. If your family would like to deliver a meal to a fire station please click below and you will be contacted about the delivery.

We will also collect donations of small snacks and gifts to create first-responder gift baskets that will also be delivered to the police department and fire stations. You may send these items to school with your children until Wed., Feb. 28. Middle School Student Council members will compile the baskets to be delivered.
St. Luke’s church has set up a donation site if you wish to contribute to the recovery and rebuilding effort. Click the links below for more information on each way to help.
