TapestryDuring the summer, students have the unique opportunity to express their creativity through total immersion in the arts. Tapestry, a two-week, full-day program for students entering 2nd-8th grade in August 2011 will be held on the campus of St. Luke’s Episcopal Day School. Students will experience four sessions a day, guided by talented local artists who are passionate about art and eager to help young people grow creatively. Each day during lunch, students will enjoy demonstrations and performances by camp participants and guest artists in all fields. Like a tapestry, threads of creativity run through us all.  This program weaves together visual and performing arts for a creative experience that will be unique for each child. The students will be divided into two age groups by grade level: 2nd-4th and 5th-8th. We seek to provide each child with the opportunity to grow artistically as well as explore new areas of interest. This year we are excited to offer the following courses:

* Beginning Guitar^ * * * Drama
* * * * Dance
* Instrument Making * Woodworking * Sewing^ * Jewelry Making
